Work for the hydroelectric
utility companies remains a large part of our business. This work varies
from routine inspections to heavy construction projects. Inspections are
accomplished utilizing either a full dive crew and helmet-mounted camera
system or a remotely operated vehicle (ROV).
Other services includes:

Trash rack
removal, repair, and replacement

Cleaning the
trash racks and removing material that the rack rake cannot reach

Installation
of bubbler systems (used for de-icing & removal of lighter material,
such as leaves, from the trash racks)

Wet-welding
and underwater cutting (burning)

Removal of
silt and other bottom materials by utilizing an air lift or a
diver-directed dredging system

Removal of
larger items such as trees, etc. by utilizing hydraulic chain saws

Concrete
work: both the repair of minor scours using hydraulic concrete to
major repair by building forms and pumping aggregate into the location

Underwater
drilling and epoxy work

General
cleaning of marine growth by utilizing water-blasting equipment

Installation
of tail race gates, stop logs, and other work to aid in de-watering
units for routine and emergency maintenance
