Working with Municipalities covers a wide range of
projects. M&K Diving has met and resolved many interesting challenges
over the years. Potable water projects are common, as well as working in
raw water reservoirs and on water intake structures. M&K Diving provides annual inspections
/ cleaning of reservoir intake
screens and related structures. Smaller areas, such as the inside of
pipelines, can be inspected by deploying the Remotely Operated Vehicle
(ROV). This method has become the method-of-choice for determining
Zebra Mussel infestation levels within pipelines.
Eurasian Milfoil is another aquatic nuisance that
requires monitoring on a regular basis. This aquatic plant can overtake
a raw water reservoir in a short period. Preventative maintenance is the
best protection against Eurasian Milfoil. (For more information
